Adoption Application
Our adoption applications are pretty simple, they take 24-72 hours to process.
Adoption Requirements:

- Unless these are barn cats you're applying for, pet cats must be indoor only

- We do not allow declawing

- if you cannot keep the cat for any reason you agree to contact us to return them to rescue first before rehoming or giving to another rescue

- if you have other cats, we need proof they are up to date on their vaccine records or you may request a waiver if the cats don't have vaccines due to age, medical, etc

- we need one reference from someone who doesn't live in the household

- adoption fees are $50-120 depending on wether they're courtesty posts or our own fosters. This adoption fee is not enough to cover the cost of vetting and raising kittens however we choose to subsidize our adoption fees to keep them lower cost. Occassionally a cat will have a sponsor and the fee may be waived or reduced.

-Barn cats have no adoption fee but do require a minimum 3 week commitment to acclimating them on their new property which we will provide all supplies for.

If applicant cannot fill out this form please email or text the information in the fields : Name, address, phone number, reference contact info, resident pet info and veterinary information or copy of latest vet records, landlord contact info or copy of lease if renter

If you are able to make it to our adoption days at purr hause we will schedule a meet and greet the first sunday of the month there from 11am-2pm. Otherwise with approved applications we can set up meet and greets in your home with the kittens or cats of your choice during the week or weekends.

If working with a rescue to do transport to their program please email us separately and we can get health certificates or vet records and transports arranged. All our cats and kittens must be spayed or neutered by 6 months of age through one of our partner vets or through your own at your own cost. The adoption fee includes spay/neuter; distemper and rabies fees. FELV FIV testing can be added for a minimal cost ($25) as can microchipping ($10).
